As Earth Guides we have an important job to do: the Spiritual revitalization of modern civilization.  This is a multifaceted job and everything that we are depends upon it.  The fact that it hasn’t been done is at the root of every problem facing mankind today.

Every day is different.  We are all different.  There are literally hundreds of situations and scenarios that pop up throughout a day – most on the spur of the moment, totally unexpected, and with no hint of how to deal with them.  And like and Angel on earth you must be prepared to handle them all because it is ultimately your job … your responsibility. And it’s a vast responsibility.

So how do you … we … pull it off?  We simply cannot be all places at all times solving every problem known to man.  But we are not expected to be.  That is the good news that we will be discussing in this article.  Just exactly what is our TRUE responsibility?  What is our job description?

If this were a 9-5 job  (do those still exist?) what are the principle tasks we would be held accountable for on a daily basis?  And this is of course given the fact that every day is different, and each one of us must be prepared to adapt to every situation that arises.  BUT … there are 7 things that we can do every single day that if we did nothing else it would alter the course of civilization and change things for the better.

Following are the SEVEN PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES OF AN EARTH GUIDE:


We aren’t talking about lips service here.  There’s way too much of that going on today.  We’re talking about putting action where your mouth is.  You really can’t rely on much of anything being said today from nearly every organization in our culture.  Churches no longer teach Truth because they feel they must put their own personal denomination bias and slant on everything; the TV News has become a farce with it’s extreme bias and slant on the politics of our day (and everybody knows it);  universities and colleges also skew their curriculum to preach to an agenda and a bias that does not represent the majority of society; and the list goes on.

DEFINITION OF TRUTH: The energy frequencies that create and sustain the universe.  The threads of TRUTH that are found in most religions that make things work on every planet in our galaxy and beyond.  And there are several of them:

LOVE: Which can be defined in many ways, but is basically common goodness toward one another; random acts of kindness.  This can be summed in the Golden Rule to “love your neighbor as you love yourself.”

FAITH: This is not another word for wishful thinking.  It is a power source.  A tangible, credible substance that is created from a specific energy frequency that permeates all of creation (just as all of these are.)

KNOWLEDGE: It states in the Bible that God created everything utilizing the power of mind and thought alone.  From the mind comes knowledge.   It is reported that nearly everyone who returns from a Near Death Experience brings back the command to continue to grow in two areas: Love and Knowledge.  So this must be important.

THERE IS ONE GOD (DEITY/HIGHER POWER):  That is above all of “us” whether or not some of “us” want to admit it.  This is more than merely a Christ Consciousness or a Universal Mind.  This is the One Supreme Creator Being who began it all and sustains it all and Who we owe our entire existence to.

AS YOU SOW, SO SHALL YOU REAP:  This is the law of Karma … very simple.


All of the above aren’t just common words we have come to use in such lackadaisical ways they no longer mean anything to us.  These are FORCES, and together (among others) they make up TRUTH.  As Earth Guides we must learn these all, and practice them in our lives.  We must perfect them.


This is not a suggestion – it is a must.  Everyone (not just Earth Guides) really ought to be doing this.  The purpose is to raise the Love Energy or the Frequency of Goodness in only those you know, thereby raising the Awareness Level of the entire civilization. Never forget the Snowball Effect … it all starts with you. 

The single most serious problem on earth today is that the Energy of Fear is being produced at an alarming rate.  And this is at the root of every bad thing facing us today.  We must reverse this frequency by replacing it with the Frequency of Love and Goodness.


That they are SPIRIT BEINGS and not merely physical bodies with brains.  Most people do not realize this and the have to be convinced of it.  Very few understand that they contain within their physical bodies enormous energy that in and of itself has the power to create for the good in their lives.  Everyone must be convinced that their TRUE IDENTITY is a Spirit residing within a Temple made by God and that they have the capability of becoming Stewards of the Mysteries of God … if they will only put forth the effort to do so.

That they must progress FORWARD on their Journey.  The recent cliché of so-called “living in the now” is nonsense, and totally unacceptable to an Earth Guide.  A true seeker can never stagnate in “the now.”  They must constant strive for the attainment of future perfection by devoting themselves to various Spiritual exercises, instead of self-gratification, self-esteem and the worldly pursuits.

That they must live the same truths YOU live in order to be walking expressions of Truth, Goodness and Power.  It is only when we change others that we prove effective as Earth Guides.


Now … there is a principle Healing technique everyone can do upon every single person they come in contact with.  I call it the BLESSING OF THE MIND.

This is a very simple technique.  Every time you meet a person during the course of a day, in your mind, repeat the following blessing:

    “Spirit of God please bless his/her conscious mind with Love and Light.”
It is as simple as that … but if every Earth Guide would commit to doing this for every person they meet during the day it would completely change the world.  And, of course, SMILE!  Every Catholic out there knows that the Pope blesses with the sign of the cross every time he speaks.  A SMILE is a symbol just as powerful.


Blanket the entire earth with the same blessing you bless the people with.  Every morning, noon and night, simply pray,

      ”Spirit of God please bless the Earth with the energies of Love and Light.”

It’s as simple as that.  Never forget that every thought you think … every blessing you speak … creates.  The more we, as Earth Guides, create with the Light and Love of God (through blessing) … then the more we participate with God in molding the future of our civilization for the better.

This is the easiest, but the most powerful of all our assignments.  There is no excuse why we shouldn’t be doing this on a daily basis.  Every day we hear people say: “Gee, I wish there was something I could do …”  … well … here you go!  Do it!


Always remember that the Great Command from Christ asks us to “love our neighbor AS WE LOVE OUR SELVES.”  The blind cannot lead the blind.  There are so many folks out there professing to be Spiritual – who are not – and they are writing books and hawking seminars and they are leading thousands of well-meaning Seekers astray with their nonsense.

Every Earth Guide must commit to finding a church that will feed their Spiritual growth.  And this will be difficult because very few exist.  Just because a church or a “center” professes a New Thought/New Age point of view, does not make it a healthy environment for Spiritual Growth.  Most of these are more interested in their own personal sexual or political agendas than they are of individual Spiritual Enlightenment.  Quite frankly it may be that you will have to start your own church by beginning with a Wednesday or Saturday night meeting that grows into a larger group of Seekers. 

Another way to grow Spiritually is to read books of a Spiritual nature.  Listen to your heart as to what you wish to accomplish with yourself and then research the web for books on this subject.  You will find that this will lead you into other areas of interest you never knew you had, until you find just that right one that makes you feel “whole.”  That will be that one that will start you on your journey as an Earth Guide.


This is what Jesus meant by what Christians now call “The Great Commission.”

Most churches teach that this Commission was designed to bring others into the Christian Church.  But that just isn’t so.  Jesus did not tell us to “go into the world and bring people into the church so they can teach denominationalism.”  He told us to “go into the world and teach them what I have commanded you.”

The Great Commission is not about us.  It’s about Christ.  We are not to teach “us.”  We are to teach “Him.”  Unfortunately there is very little of that going on today.  Again, you will have a difficult time finding TRUTH in the majority of churches and centers and philosophies in the world today.  You may have to hold your own meetings.  (Look for a future article on the format for beginning your own group.)

As you live TRUTH, you will attract others to you who desire to do the same.  Like attracts like.  Open up your home and invite someone over.  Then adopt them as a personal “project” by praying for them daily, blessing them daily, calling them or e-mailing them regularly, and having them over once in a while after that initial, first contact.

Then teach them to do the same.  You will be surprised at how rapidly one or two can grow into a large group of like-minded seekers.



There you have it.  THE SEVEN RESPONSIBILITES OF AN EARTH GUIDE.  Here is a quick checklist in review:

1. You must live the truth.
2. You must look for the good in all others in order to raise the frequency of goodness that will eventually bring Higher Awareness to the Earth.
3. Remind others who they really are: Spirit Beings.  And urge them to go forward on their path, walking in TRUTH.
4. You must practice Healing.  Mainly by blessing others, but also by learning healing techniques.
5. Energize the Earth with prayer. Bless the Earth with Love and Light.
6. Be devoted to your own Spiritual Growth by attending a TRUE Church or by beginning one of your own, and by reading and studying books in your area of interest.
7. Recruit more Earth Guides by inviting them into your home and training them in the ways of TRUTH.

     
These are the 7 key elements for fulfilling the responsibility of being an Earth Guide.  Every one of these is simple, but powerful.  They’re all free.  They’re all easy.  And if you will only commit to them they will change your life for the better.
